On Wednesday, 17th November, 1999, the fourth CIMAC Day since its inception was held at the Europort trade fair in Amsterdam. The topic was "Turbocharging - present status and future developments", discussed by a panel of six chaired by Prof. Nikolaos Kyrtatos, Technical University Athens and CIMAC Vice-President for Working Groups.

The CIMAC DAY was opened by a brief welcome address by CIMAC's President, Stephen G. Dexter. Then the chairman, Nikolaos Kyrtatos presented the CIMAC Working Groups and then introduced the members of the panel.
