CIMAC Circle at POWER GEN Europe

Powering the grid 24/7: Transitioning energy supply with reciprocating engines

CIMAC will be at the 2014 POWER-GEN Europe, which is taking place at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from June 3 - 5, 2014.
POWER-GEN visitors and participants are invited to join us at a CIMAC Circle on third of June from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30, where we will discuss the role of reciprocating engines to ensure reliable, efficient, affordable power supply in Europe during the energy transition.

The CIMAC Circle will be staged in co-operation with show organiser PennWell and will, as usual, consist of scene-setting presentations from an expert panel, followed by a podium discussion with audience participation.
The event will be moderated by experienced engine industry consultant Jacob Klimstra. The panel will consist of:

  • Ulf Åstrand, Wärtsilä Corporation, Finland
  • Wilhelm Müller, Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH, Germany
  • Christian Poensgen, MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Germany
  • Christoph Rofka, ABB Turbo Systems Ltd., Switzerland
  • Jürgen Winterholler, MTU Onsite Energy, Germany

You need at least the visitors' registration to get access to the congress venue. For Registration please visit the POWER-GEN website (direct link on the right). Please note that participation in the CIMAC Circle is limited to 150 people.
