CIMAC CIRCLE at Kormarine, Busan, 2011

Oct. 27, 2011, 14 h - 16 h

Eco-friendly diesel engine design and operation in challenging times

The first CIMAC CIRCLE to be held in Korea took place on 27th October 27, 2011, as part of the programme of the Kormarine trade show in Busan. A well chosen theme, presciently capturing the circumstances under which the global maritime sector is presently operating attracted a total of 56 registrations. While a strong Korean majority reflected the intense local interest in the Circle and its highly topical subject, there were contingents from a further 9 countries on 3 continents.

The Panel:
K.K. Lee, MAN Diesel & Turbo Korea Ltd., Korea (panel chair)
Lars Bryndum, MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Denmark
Dr. German Weisser, Wärtsilä Switzerland, Switzerland
Masahiko Okabe, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan
J.T. Kim, Hundai Heavy Industries, Korea
Jae-Ung Park, ABB Ltd. Busan, Korea
Hae-Ryong Kweon, Hanjin Shipping, Korea
