The second CIMAC Tech-Talk by CIMAC GHG Strategy Group titled 'eFuels - Turning the Tide for a Sustainable Maritime Industry' with distinguished experts from the industry was successfully completed on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 14:00-15:30 hrs CET.
The Tech-Talk was hosted by the Chairman of the CIMAC Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Strategy Group, Dirk Bergmann, CTO Accelleron, with the following esteemed guests from the industry:
- Jacob Sterling, Head of Decarbonisation Innovation & Business Development, A.P. Moller-Maersk
- Dorte Kubel, Regulatory Affairs Manager, MAN Energy Solutions
- Peter Müller-Baum, Managing Director, VDMA Engines & Systems, Power-to-X for Applications, CIMAC Secretary General
The discussion spanned the broad spectrum of the possible eFuels from today's perspective, while looking closely at their potential to mature into future solutions for our industry. The discussion also touched upon the recently published position paper and white papers from the CIMAC GHG Strategy Group on the topic, which is being continuously investigated.
