After many years of waiting and postponements due to Covid-19, Past President Prof. Jin Donghan now invited CIMAC Board & Council members to Tianjin/China for the 2024 spring meeting. The tradition of CIMAC presidents inviting B&C to their organization interrupted due to Covid-Restrictions was thus continued. CIMAC President Rick Boom and all attending Board and Council members were welcomed with great hospitality by Prof. Jin and his team. Besides the meetings, a wonderful program was organized with excellent dinners including local cuisine, sightseeing tour through Tianjin, a river cruise and a very informative visit at Tianjin University’s Engine Department and at the Earthquake Research Centre.
