Change in the CIMAC Board: welcome Petar, thank you Daniel

At the recent CIMAC Board & Council meeting, kindly hosted by Woodward and CIMAC president Rick Boom, an important personnel change was announced: Daniel Chatterjee (Rolls-Royce Solutions) will be stepping down from the CIMAC Board due to new responsibilities within his company. 

We sincerely thank Daniel for his strong commitment and his valuable contributions in his role as Vice President Decarbonization. 

Dr. Petar Pelemis will take over Daniel’s position on the CIMAC Board. Petar is with Rolls-Royce since 2012 and has held several senior leadership roles. From 2014 to 2019, he led Product Management. Between 2019 and 2021, he was responsible for Corporate Strategy. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), overseeing all R&D activities in the Stationary Business Unit. Since June 2024, he has returned to Corporate Strategy as Senior Vice President, responsible for Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Product Management. Petar holds a doctoral degree in engineering, an MBA with a focus on Corporate Strategy, and a diploma in Industrial Engineering.
