After nearly a year of holding consultative status as a non-governmental organization (NGO) at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), CIMAC now had the honor of introducing itself to the distinguished delegates during the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) meeting MSC110 in June. It was a privilege to present in the main hall and to engage in meaningful conversations with delegates during the sponsored lunch in the delegates' lounge.
CIMAC sincerely thanks all delegates who approached the team with questions and interest. These valuable exchanges gave us the chance to highlight the work of our technical working groups, including contributions on enabling a ship-wide data ecosystem, the use of digital twins, and developing consistent terminology for single electric motors.
CIMAC remains fully committed to its consultative partnership role and looks forward to continued collaboration with the IMO, its member states, other NGOs, and intergovernmental organizations.
