This session will present the key outcomes of the 50th session of the Facilitation Committee (FAL 50) of the International Maritime Organization, held in London from 23 to 27 March 2026. As CIMAC is actively following the discussions at FAL 50, it will share an overview of the main developments and decisions from the meeting. Particular attention will be given to the IMO’s evolving approach to maritime digital transformation, including its comprehensive strategy on maritime digitalization, progress on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS), and the latest guidelines on maritime cyber risk management.
