CIMAC now met with two other associations to talk about differences and similarities, points of contact and possible joint activities in the future. The One Sea Association is a high-profile, non-profit global alliance of leading commercial manufacturers, integrators and operators of maritime technology, digital solutions and automated and autonomous systems. Waterborne is an industry-oriented Technology Platform to establish a continuous dialogue between all waterborne stakeholders.
The three organizations complement each other very well and share common interests, especially when it comes to topics like greenhouse gas reduction, new fuels, lubricants, overall energy efficiency and some more. The conversation was very interesting, it was agreed to consider the possibility of cooperation especially concerning greenhouse gas reduction in the maritime environment. We will keep you posted.
